Due to the current high temperatures across the UK, we will be closely monitoring the weather and reviewing whether group sessions can safely go ahead.
We are also mindful that some children may already be dysregulated after school due to the heat, and further activities may not always be helpful.
We will keep families updated and let you know of any changes as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding.

This week we recognise and celebrate the incredible contribution of our Armed Forces community β those currently serving, our Reservists, our Veterans, our Cadets, and the families who stand beside them.
On Reserves Day, 24 June 2026, we proudly honour the dedication of Reservists who balance civilian life with military service, giving their time, skills and commitment to protect and support our country.
On Armed Forces Day, 27 June 2026, we come together to show our gratitude to everyone who serves or has served. Their courage, sacrifice, resilience and commitment should never be underestimated.
At NeuroDiverse Community CIC, we are incredibly proud to support Armed Forces families through our Forces Hub, creating inclusive, understanding and empowering spaces for neurodivergent children, young people, adults, serving personnel, Reservists, Veterans, Cadets and their families.
To every member of the Armed Forces community β thank you. We see you, we value you, and we are proud to stand alongside you.

Markers, ideas, and plenty of teamwork!

Today at our NDC Windsor Eco Forces allotments, the children had the opportunity to explore both of our plots and let their imaginations run wild. They spent time drawing their ideas for how they would like the plots to look and deciding what fruits, vegetables, flowers and sensory features they would love to grow in the future.

After all that planning, everyone got stuck in helping to rake up the dry grass, showing fantastic teamwork and proving that many hands really do make light work!
A special thank you to Megan, who brought along a bird’s nest she had found. The children were fascinated and enjoyed carefully observing the amazing craftsmanship of nature and talking about how birds build their homes.

It was wonderful to see so much curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm for the environment. We can’t wait to watch our allotments grow and develop with the children’s ideas at the heart of them.
Tonightβs YouthAbility session was full of creativity, curiosity and lots of laughter!
Our Young Leader, Isla-Honey, became a mini nature explorer as she found and carefully observed ants and a grasshopper, taking time to look closely, ask questions and notice the tiny wildlife around us. Moments like these are brilliant for building curiosity, patience and respect for the natural world.
We also got hands-on with different types of slime, exploring textures, stretchiness, colours and sensory play. There was plenty of experimenting, squishing, pulling and testing β exactly the kind of messy fun we love!
The highlight of the evening was our Food-Themed Dress Up Competition

with some fantastic imagination and confidence from everyone who took part.
A huge well done to Anneka too, who made an amazing bee light using a glass jar, a light-up ball, ribbon, laminated paper, tissue paper, pipe cleaners, paint and stickers. It looked absolutely brilliant and was such a lovely way to combine recycling, creativity and our love of nature.

YouthAbility is all about giving our young people a safe, welcoming space to be themselves, try new things, build friendships and have fun.
