Our Team
Today, NDC has grown into a recognised organisation, bridging gaps in support and providing a wide range of services for neurodiverse individuals and families. From our local community to members across the globe, we continue to empower and offer a sense of belonging to all those we serve.
Lesley Collier
Founder & CEO
Lesley is the Founder and CEO of Neurodiverse Community CIC, leading the organisation’s work across family support, SEND casework, community provision. She founded Neurodiverse Community from both professional and lived experience, recognising how difficult it can be for families to access understanding, practical support and inclusive services.
Lesley brings lived experience as an armed forces child, an armed forces partner, and a parent of two children with neurodivergent needs. This gives her a strong understanding of the pressures many families face, particularly when navigating education, diagnosis pathways, transitions, advocating for and day-to-day life.
Her work is rooted in supporting neurodivergent children, young people and adults, as well as parents, carers, siblings, veterans and armed forces families. Lesley has extensive experience in SEND support, including EHCP guidance, support around school meetings, mediation preparation and wider casework for families navigating complex systems.
Lesley is passionate about ensuring people can access support before, during and after diagnosis, as well as providing ongoing help for individuals living with neurodiversity every day. Through Neurodiverse Community, she has helped grow a service focused on practical support, community connection, informed guidance and inclusive opportunities for the whole family.
